Ignore lists on forums such as this don't hide the post from those on the ignore list, nor do they stop them from commenting. They just hide the posts from the OP. Waste of time really, should be the other way around - hide comments and posts from those on the ignore list.

Facebook has a better system: Block those you don't want to see your post, then they can't respond in your thread.

Ignore lists only block you from seeing what people on your ignore post, they can still respond and post on your thread, but you can't see what they are posting.
