Engine carnage

Here's some photos of a single cylinder 4 stroke engine that came apart. Waiting for more photos to determine the cause of the wreckage. The engine and oil tank holds ~ 2,000 cc of oil and only had 1100 cc in it. Fresh oil in the oil tank, black oil in the engine. The second picture is the bottom of the cylinder & piston, looking up from the crankshaft. Be interesting to see how the other parts look (cylinder head, cam bearings, cam shafts)
