Thought I'd share a couple of the many things I've been working on this winter. Although with all the rain we've gotten in the last 24 hours, I'm thinking of starting on an ARK... LOL

Looks nice, I like the dash. Is that an 89 or a 90? Can't tell for sure, but I recognize the buttons on the doors

It is a 1990, and for next season, I'm thinking of getting a 1 lung Briggs from Cutter to keep things fair for the Chebbie boys. :evil: Actually it has a 468 cu in Ford mill and has had a built C6. For the last 3 seasons, I've been running a Dana 60 front with a Detroit locker from an 87 F350 and the original 90 vintage Sterling 10.25 with a lincoln locked rear, but for the 08 season, I've got a Eaton H110 rear axle to replace the Sterling. Folks sell the Sterling short in my opinion cuz, after 3 seasons, the only issue I've had is one u-joint failure. I'm still working on a new trans for the 08 season. I know what I want to use, but $$ may be an issue! Also, I've been running down and back headers, but they have been sold and a set of uprights are in the works along with a custom tuned carb. |
