Heat the female end of the extension and squeeze it in a vice?

Easy Peasy.

Hand loose & shakey new speed wrench to tech that lost yours.

And demand your original one back.

A little back story, I suppose is in order. Myself and two other adjusters share a toolbox and its contents. I have expressed interest in purchasing my own toolbox for my own tools. Space is at a premium at my place of employment and was turned down. The guy that lost the speed wrench is a 25yr veteran and president of the union(and a good guy). We are pulled in a bunch of directions while on shift and I understand these things happen. After I made the new wrench and extension, I found the original one I made(that was misplaced) so it is now stashed in my locker.

We will share the latest wrench and I will try to make it as nice as the original, but now the original is mine only.
