I've got an older model of the same drill. It's really no sweat to use. Get yourself a 4 foot length of 3/4" pipe to screw into the socket on the side opposite the handle. Brace it up against something (or have a buddy hold the end for you) and you have complete control...

I'll take a mag drill and a roabroach any day. I did have 19mm Makita with a chuck back when they made them out of metal....with no reverse. Yes, they can hurt you and keep going til they pull out the cord.

I will never pull the trigger on this drill, I think its made for a drill stand that you see the old B&D drills mounted on, I have a air drill with the same MT socket on it but I can control it with a 3/8" hose for the air supply
