Angle Grinders: Corded vs Cordless vs pneumatic

Sorry I'm late to the table! Yes, corded are best, cordless for convenience, and air for delicacy. Page 3 and 4 made me feel like I'm not such an outcast with the large tools.

Thanks for your input. However, I do feel "best" is in the eye of the beholder since it largely depends on the usage/scenario.

I mean the heat and sparks. I tend to catch things on fire I have a 75ft air hose reel, but I tend to keep it wound up when there's fire involved. Extension cords seem to fare better.

Oh, yea it's happened a couple times where some sparks ate through the plastic expandable sleeving. One thing I'm gonna try is spray the hoses with some fire-retardant liquid I saw on Amazon. Probably won't be 100% ideal, but better than nothing.

Couple air grinders, don't use much (probably haven't come out of the tool cabinet in 10 years). They are loud!

Big DeWalt, but like someone said, it is a handful.

6 4.5 grinders, one slide switch the rest paddle switches. Grandkids are using the tools more and more as they grow up and paddles are safer in my opinion if they get into a problem.

I say that cause I tend to burn through batteries quicker than I can charge them. No I don't have a small amount of batteries nor are they minimal amp hour.
