Default memorial wreath

my son passed away in May, my wife asked me to make an angel wing wreath for an art show in central park NY, I did what I could

I recall that you mentioned the loss of your son, Larry. It seems to me that it was in sympathy with another member's loss.

thanks for the kind comments. This was my second attempt, the first try took almost three weeks and turned out terrible, I chucked it, disappointed and frustrated, thought about quitting. Then, I just put my nose to the grindstone, stopped thinking to much, and went at it. I didn't count, but There are over 300 feathers. To save time and energy, I cut them out with a plasma, put them in the forge and hit each one around 100 times to get the texture, ( wish I could have used the power hammer) in the center I ended up putting a stainless plate and an LED that gives a "halo" effect. this version took 10 days. It was a lot harder emotionally, to turn it in than I ever thought it would be. Now I have to much time on my hands...to think
