Default Trying out Hobart Fabshield 21B

Got some Hobart fabshield, what a difference to what I had been using, decided to use it to entertain the middle grand daughter during the school holidays, a lot of help but she did OK

That's awesome, nothing like teaching daughters, or grand daughters, how to do stuff for themselves.

I was initially told about 21b by the Original Pile Buck, many years ago. It replaced a couple of wires in our inventory and filled our structural welding requirements for as long as I worked for that company.

From the little I have done today I have completely revised my opinion of flux core. It is worth spending the extra and waiting for delivery from the eastern states.

I am a fan of Fabshield 21B.

EDIT:
There are number good discussion about Fabshield 21B and 23 and the Lincoln NP-211 NP-212 wires.

Use the advanced search function and query Fabshield in the Welding forum and you will get ~22 Threads to read dating back to 2004.
