![]() Some Allen wrench holders. Was a good excuse to do some trig/ geometry practice too. I figured out the hole size needed by math for each size Allen and then spaced them equal distance apart between holes, as best as I could. The aluminum pieces are old scrap pistons from hydraulic cylinders, so I just cleaned them up and kept them as big as possible, so every one was different hole pattern. Made 4 so far. Expect some other coworkers to ask for some next. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using ShopFloorTalk

I need to do something similar. All mine are all mixed in a plastic tub. Sometimes takes forever to find the right one.

plus I cant see well enough to go through them to size them back out from inch to metric So I may just toss them to someone who can use them and start and force my self to keep the ones I replace them all with in order and back in the rite place after each use seems I can do that with all my other tools but for some reason my Allen wrenches are a big mess... ![]()

No hole for the .028" one ?? :-) I just had to dig that one out the other day to fit a 2-56 set screw. I keep it and the .050" one in one of those plastic containers that Pintel .7mm leads for "click" feed pencils come in. I think they are too easy to get lost in any other system.

I just drill holes for the ones in the plastic holders that have the most common ones. ![]() Sent from my iPhone using ShopFloorTalk

Quickest way I’ve found to sort hex keys, drills etc is with a set of digital verniers. Makes it quick to switch from metric to imperial, easy on the eyes, and with a conversion chart right there it’s easy to figure what size it actually is.

Not quite a tool holder, but adapted a larger style adjustable arm, like a noga holder style to the mill to use as an adjustable stop. Friend saved it from his scrapping hobby, and gave it to me. I think it is going to be handy.
Found a couple online for sale. Asking $220 and up. They are proud of them, but then again was designed for the medical profession. Sent from my iPhone using ShopFloorTalk

Gee, I'd like to have one of those, just to know that I have it.
Put it with my Matt Shade knife. ![]()

Ok, added some paint colors to the Allen key holders, and the corresponding color to the mill holders that use them, to help pick up the right Allen when needed.
