Set at 90 degrees, I'll bet it would fit in there without the hole in the rim.

I find the attachment very handy, and it doesn't seem to get in the way.
I had one of those years back. Someone must have liked it better than I did.

I made a trailer for mine high enough for a wheelbarrow because I got tired of picking up chips

The problem can be solved with a 90 degree grease nipple.

I have the same chipper and I know what you mean. I got mine at an auction back in '86 for $180. I figured even if the engine was bad I made out. At that time, they went new for $1100. Guess what was bad.

That thing would burn a quart of oil per hour. I fixed up a 5.5hp Lauson engine I had from an ancient Toro rider. The oil consuption was reduced. It wouldn't burn it, it would blow about a 1/2 cup out the breather tube instead. Can't win.

I bought a 10hp Briggs I/C engine with electric start from Northern about 30 years ago. Someday, I may actually, put it on. Those roundtuits are mighty hard to find.

Yeah, but I had to have the hole in the wheel so I could drill and tap the hole in the hub.
