Always practical Duke. How thick is the rebar you're using?

1 1/4". Needed to get the wood out of a pile and keep snakes away.

I was thinking that was some think rebar. Does putting up in the air keep the snakes down? They could just slide right under there. I have about a cord so far this year stacked up in my shed. Lot less snakes and criters in that cord than in the big oak i cut down wiht all the brush.

I hope that they wont, but the area under the rack is much less inviting than the pile I had before building the racks. The only snake I like is a dead snake.
