So, how much is required to get a "thanks?"

Seriously, it's interesting to me to know how much it costs to run this board.

Would you consider giving us an idea of what's necessary, how much it takes, how much we need to give, and how often, to make it work out for everyone?

THEN, we could like sign up and pledge our donations so you won't have to worry about it anymore

FYI,

I may miss some people because the email and Paypal names do not match the email used to register on SFT or their username.

And in the immoral ... umm ... OH YEAH! Immortal words of KoO...

Thansk!

Or, you could switch to a Mozilla based browser, (I guess the new IE has it too, copy catters) and use your middle button to load a new tab with the link in the background, and keep reading the page you are on, and when you are done reading your 20 tabs you opened, all the ads will be there for you too close and get back with your life.

Hmmm, mark, does loading 25 tabs at one after another when opening the all the unread new posts cause extra load on the server, or is my max 500 kbps connection bottlenecking it to where your router doesn't notice?

25 connections isn't much; SFT generates a little over 137,000 hits each day (on average) and I host several other sites as well (though none by themselves generate as much traffic as SFT).

As for bandwidth I don't think you're going to hurt my connection... I've got an 8 Mbps synchronous fiber connection and the router will handle 12 Mbps without trouble, though it does seem to have trouble when there are several thousand simultaneous connections.
