Default Weed Trimmer

Bought a cordless weed trimmer last year. It is a Green Works Pro 60V. I had previously used a high wheel gas trimmer. The high wheel is about 15 years old and currently has a leak in the fuel tank seam, so had to either fix the fuel tank or get something else.

I find the cordless is more maneuverable and much lighter to move around than the gas trimmer. The battery being 60 volts last longer than I can trim so it works for me. I have only had for a year, but I am very satisfied with its performance thus far.

Carol has a ryobi cordless weed wacker, she got a new one today.
Shes had one for several years and it burned up yesterday.
She uses ryobi because i use Milwaukee, that way i can't steal her batteries.
She loves it,hers is way smaller than yours.

My spot of grass is much smaller than yours and I have gone to battery power on trimmer pole saw and hand tools. Have a gas blower that a friend gave me and I put a gasket on and refuses to die so I use it as needed. We have 2 push mowers 1 bought new in 1998 and 1 the CEO found down the street. New carb and it runs like new and is self propelled. When they die I’ll go battery if needed.

I have a grass/weed trimmer that I haven't used in over fifteen years. No lawn to speak of unless you like high water bills. One of the perks/drawbacks of living in the desert.

I bought the wife an EGO blower from Homey depot. She likes to blow out around the plants on the patio. 56V IIRC and it puts out better than the old gas powered POS I had. And I dont have to get it started for her
