![]() I've been advised to avoid using rubber washers, because they tend to decay/corrode/fall apart. Can someone share experience with this issue? thx! (posted on a couple other forums) |

In what situations? Under certain conditions yes, alcohol base fuels, sunlight, etc can cause them to crumble.
It depends what you are doing with them.

thx for reply, ironman.
it will be subjected to constant vibration, but not much sunlight or moisture. No fuels. It's washers in a device that will be used outside and inside, but not exposed to more than air moisture, sometimes beach air. i'm planning on going with silicone or neoprene to be safe. cheers |
