Thanks JT

I was getting ready to mention dual sheild, I use straight CO2 @ work and that is one hot process. You learn to hold the gun way back on the handle or burn the crap outa your gloves.

What wire? I've been using some of the 71 series (several different brands) with straight CO2 and man that stuff is nice. I'd use more of it but I'm out in a pretty stiff breeze most of the time. I have friends that swear by the 75/25 gas but I think the CO2 runs pretty clean, plus a bottle goes forever and the charpies are better with CO2. I need one of those beer can looking finned regulators tho as I frost up about 30' of hose when we get going good.
That's some of the nicest running wire/rod I've ever seen. And the mechanicals are right there with LoHi stick.

I guess some of the new Metal core is really burns hot. I have not tried it but I have settings on my machine for it. You even can pulse it if you want.

JT

We use Kobelco DW-50, here is the info:

http://www.kobelcowelding.com/dw50.pdf

The low fume part, I can not validate, we only use CO2 and the low fume aspect requires C25. We use a heater that goes between the regulator and bottle, a good place to warm hands in the winter.

And, we don't feel badly that we don't care.
We are uncaring and unfeeling.

And we can't be threatened by the loss of federal matching funds or loss of federal contracts. We have no funds, no contracts, no prospects and no intentions. We also have no policy, no regulations or guidelines, no reports to file & no paperwork to turn in.
Which is why we are happy.
