Nice welding table, and perfectly acceptable by my standards.
I've got a nice mason's mortar stand that I'm a bit partial to myself, folds small, and is just about the right height. |

john, the ring is made from a piece of 20 foot 1 1/4" x 1/8" flat strap. I made a plywood jig for it by laying a piece of 3/4 plywood on the rim and drawing a circle. Then I cut the plywood wheel and then at about 5 places around the wheel, I cut holes/slots about one inch from the edge to hold vicegrip clamps. I clamp the one end of the strap to the outside edge of the wheel and roll it across a sawhorse clamping the strap at the different holes around the wheel....primitive, CHEAP, and it works. I use a bigger one for the semi truck rims. Looks sorta like this
