I have one thing to say about O-Rings having run a Fleet shop years ago and my own assortments in my shed. It's sort of like "Murphy's Law" you can have $900 of O-Ring assortments in every flavor Viton etc. You will NEVER have the exact size cross-section etc you need to replace on the project you are currently working on

I have one of those cheaper oring kits. The ones that say they are 1/16” cross section are close to .062”. At work, our 1/16” orings are .072” cross section. Usually I cut the oring groove .050” per side for proper squish.
Our 1/8” orings usually measure .139”. And so on for the sizes. Usually they will have a bit of squish when put into a groove of it’s labeled size. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
