If you many of these to do, you probably want to hang an oxy torch
in place (or next to) the plasma torch.

Most of these are a bit too thick for plasma.

One of two sprocket projects below.

Why do I need an oxy torch? I guess I didn't say I needed a 1 1/4" chain, sorry. I was thinking more like 3/8" chain. The only thing I have to look at is bicycle chain, it seems to be tapered at the top, I thought I'd ask about the larger sprockets, are they tapered? I used the word beveled, don't know what that edge of the chain is called.

All sprockets have a taper at the top 1/3rd. at least the ones i have run into, ag sprockets are usually chopped off on the top taper.
it is sort of the same idea as a gear tooth, for clearance. The worst thing you can do to a sprocket is have worn chain, cause the taper takes the brunt of the incoming load instead of just ducking out of the way on the outgoing.
