Its obvious, that STW, has much better luck with suppliers than I do. After the last 7-8 orders I did with McM-C, they screwed up about 5 of the orders, they made them good, but every time I dealt with them, there has always been a massive time delay.

MSC on the other hand, has a 100% correct order and shipping history, my problem with them, is they are always in the kill mode on pricing and shipping cost. If I was a company, maybe I could live with their pricing schedule, but as a home shop guy, they are brutal, damn I miss ENCO.

So yesterday I called Blackhawk Industrial, tooling distributor, I have a few
friends that work there so I do try to toss some business their way.

I ordered some Nachi drills and a 0.499" chucking reamer yesterday, about
noonish. The drills showed up today, UPS. Damn...

Let me know if any of you need Kim's email or phone number.

Jack, you must've missed out on the changeover - when MSC took over ENCO, they offered all enco customers the chance to sign up with them using their old ENCO account - my cost on some items is less than HALF when I'm logged in, as it is if I just check WITHOUT signing in - other items, not so much. .. Yes List versus you price can be YUGE on MSC depending if you are logged
on, I buy stuff for work on my account vs. our Maintenance dept. They
were surprised I have better pricing.

I think Maint. Dept. at work is using my account now, which is fine as I
don't store my CC info on websites.

It's unreal; here's non-logged in example
https://www.mscdirect.com/product/de...53918?fromRR=Y
($53.50)
My logged in price - $28.06 - and free shipping, last couple I bought were here in 2 days.

The "civilian" price on the rotary table, backing plate and 3-jaw chuck I bought for my mill is over $300 more than I paid. Sure glad I didn't miss THAT boat, doubt if I'll EVER be done "accessorizing", and haven't even STARTED on a lathe yet ...Steve
