It probably works well for burning the insulation off abandoned house wiring.

Washing machine tubs make the best fire rings.
Thats about all we use in the south.
The stainless ones are badass.

Years ago I had a washing machine tub that I used to plant strawberry plants in. Worked great in that with the many holes in it water drained very well and did not root rot the plants.

Are you southern "people" using them to burn trash ?

a "fire ring" around here usually has nature scenes or other things plasma cut
around the perimeter, and they are used at a campground, or a after dark fire
in your back yard during a party, or snuggling with the better half.
