Default New Welder

I broke open the wallet and let the moths out. I purchased the new welder that Horrible Fright has out. It's the Titanium, dual voltage stick welder, all 16lbs of it. The GNAP and I fired it up on both voltages and it runs 6010 really well. We will see how it holds up. It will take me a while to get used to DC welding. Most of the time I used an old tomb stone, but this one is much easier to move around. I'm sure Jack will be on here with his inimitable report on the product.

How well does it run 6010 on 120v? I have been looking for another small portable machine to replace my little longevity when it lets the smoke out.

It seems to work OK. The duty cycle isn't too bad at 50-60 amps.

My impressions - I was quite surprised the arc quality, the smoothness and apparent arc drive. The price seems quite reasonable, controls have a good solid feel and build quality seems good.
