Yep, I am totally done with helping people who I have helped out many times and they never have the time to help me on the rare occasion in asking them too Family included...

So my new words of wisdom to them... NOPE! go pay someone to help you seems like I have always helped you for free but always had to pay you...
and never got any work out of ya... odd how that shit catches up with some.

I'll still help folks out of kindness for free when I see someone in a bind
but when they start to take advantage of that I am done right there and right then period!

I didn't get the bald spot on the back of my head from just aging, It came from people wiping their feet on me as if I were a doormat.

And now some of them understood me when I told them don't mistake my kindness for weakness... cause you've done that already. and now see where you're at... in the front of the go fuck your self list of do not help.

But I'm with Randy on this If I were closer I'd give Tim a hand where ever I could....

It’s an easy way to figure out who your true friends are.

Just like lending money to friends. If it gets paid back, then they can still be friends. If not, consider it a payment for them to go away.

Right on,i agree.

My FiL was bad to borrow my truck,he would borrow my truck to help
a neighbor, the neighbor was an asskole.

So,i would still loan him my truck, but we loaded it down with trash and he would have to go to the landfill to dump it.
Fair deal,i thought!

He did it twice before he caught on!

Tim is at least 4 hours from me,maybe more, and Atlantas in the way too..

Friend of mine who I was going to have help put the building up had open heart surgery a week ago. Quadruple bypass at that. Wasn't on my list of possible issues. He's doing ok though considering.

Hoping to have the bulldozer unstuck in a few weeks. Getting the inspector back out this week to sign off on my under slab plumbing later this week.

Default Morton buildings

Great. Only 1 year 1 day past original date on permit. Does your county have an expiration time on building permits?

Better late then never

I have six months limit of inactivity before it expires. Have a inspection and you have another six month window.
