![]() I wired a bypass around the transmission module so that it would go into gear. Works great, only real issue is that the dash lights flash when operating. I can live with that. It is the nicest forklift I have owned. 7k lift capacity. Only other problem I have encountered is that it weighs twice what my old one did and I have gotten stuck in places I never did before. The problem seems to be abating as the ground gets more compacted. Sent from my E6810 using ShopFloorTalk mobile app

I have always wanted a forklift, but I would have to get a big wheel model as I operate on gravel.

Isn't it "grate" when all those electronic controls don't work. A mechanical link would work, but that isn't "New and Improved". A three position toggle switch does the job too, but "Electronic Modules" are the latest thing, so they are "Better".

I bought a 4000lb Hyster diesel pneumatic forklift years ago,its been the best tool in the drawer,so to speak..I had traction issues going over soft ground with it..so I put snow chains on the just the outer wheels(dual drive wheels)and it goes anywhere now..grass,some mud, but mostly flat and level ground here. A dual drive wheel forklift is essential to me,the stability of the machine is so much greater than a single wheel lift.It looks as tho you might have solid pneumatics on the front of yours

Yeah, they are solid. Eventually I will likely change back to pneumatic tires.

Dang Andy, that is a pretty machine. Good deal for you also.
