Which Generator for $1000???
Hi,
Looking for a small generator for emergency use. About 6500-8000W is fine. A lot out there and I'm getting lost in the sauce! Would prefer a HONDA but to much money. Cat, WEN, Generac, ect,? Any ideas on the best cheap generator, seems a lot now are made in CHINA???

If it does NOT have a brain, that is a win,,, food for thought... simple is good, if your handy find one that does not start but is not locked up, likely throw a carb at it, and you will be golden !

The Predator is Chinee but the engine is a Honda clone. I bought one (9000 watt) for the engine.

genset. My Trailblazer 302D is the one I rely on. But the Champion does fit a need. It is small and portable, I bought it for the hunting camper. It was cheap under $300 and when it dies, it owes me nothing at this point. I would not buy it a my go to genset.
