Threepiece, Who is this "We" you mention in :
<There will come a time when we will have to choose what is important to us.>
Are you pregnant or do you have a mouse in your pocket? :-)
You surely don't believe the "public" will have any say in what is done by the "masters".

Look at the volcanos going right now. Electric cars and bicycles won’t fix that, and there is a good chance it will get worse.

The hilarious part f ll this is that the climate has been warming for 11,000years, since the last ice age.
If Turdeau and Greta were in power back at the end of the ice age they would be campaigning to save the world from melting, and all the animals they depend on for food may die off without ice. The ice age survivors will die from the heat and floods from melting ice.

The 'sky is falling' message will never change, the rationals and messengers will be popping up like wack-a-moles for eternity.

I am imagining that with enough propaganda, the opposition could manage to blame the end of the Ice Age on Donald Trump.

I used to say to people this:
Jesus on the cross? I was behind that
All those Italians getting smoked on Pompeii? That was me
Pearl Harbor? I had a hand in that
Hiroshima and Nagasaki? Ditto

That was usually my response after somebody called me an asshole. When you deal with the public and give them answers they don't like, expect some insults to be flying your way.

I am referring to all people of the earth.

I see a division being developed in this country and probably others, largely because more people are perusing a deeper connection to computers and internet. This I believe will eventually lead to two mainstreams of society. One stream will flow with the values Nature/God has established. These are values like stewardship of our environment and families, work ethic and creating tangible things with our hands. These are values that will empower individuals and communities. The other stream will flow with values corporations/government has established. These are values like convenience, speed, image, comfort and credit score. These empower the “masters” while pitting people against each other.

A technologically advanced society would teach their children how to start a fire by rubbing two sticks together before teaching them how to use a lighter.

If you are not having fun then you are doing it wrong.

1. The Climate is always changing...
2. Is it man made? No it is not.
3. For the vast majority of the last 500 billion years, the time that there has been life on this planet, There has been no polar ice caps and zero glaciers.
4. Study the difference between C3 and C4 photosynthesis and tell me about it and what drove that evolution.

Kill the sub-100s and you have a new median. (Plus everybody instantly has twice as much stuff but ignore that for now.)

Then someone will argue that it worked really well and we should do it again.

Eventually you’re left with two people arguing over which one is smarter and therefore has the right to survive.

You stop around a billion people, the planet can easily support that population size.

Yeah that’s what I told myself when I started smoking. I can quit anytime I want to.

Once humankind doesn’t have to struggle and strain and achieve to survive, it will try to destroy itself.

By the way, Shadetree? I am totally yanking your chain there buddy. If you didn’t think it was funny I did a shitty job writing it.

I won’t quit my day job.

I’m going to watch 2stroke stuffing on YouTube. What fun!

You would not believe how much blue smoke a 50cc engine can make when you super charge it and feed it as much fuel as it can drink.

If he makes it to Bonneville again this year I may decide to go.
