Default Yea!!

EPA head honcho Pruitt gave us a parting gift on the way out the door. You can still put together a truck that isn't an EPA Turd.

Well , I guess gliders are still a business . Seems strange gliders are not held to same standard as the OEM .

Try driving any thing from Navicrap with one of their electronic DT's and you will understand why Mom and Pop's build gliders. Or any of the other POS that decide they need to REGEN when you need them the most. Gliders are a loophole that allow owner/operators a chance to survive. The door was set to pretty much close at the end of this year ( Thanks to O-Shitstain). I don't get to take advantage of this ruling as the Big Green 800 pound Gorilla is so proud of it's "Environmental Stewardship insert puking Emoji here. But, I'm still rooting for sanity and the little guy.

I know some small fleet operators here are looking at multiple gliders for replacing trucks.

Many of the ‘older’ engines end up getting better mileage doing the same job as newer trucks.

So, if they are using less fuel, thereby using less energy, isn’t that a good thing?

I’ve also heard a lot of horror stories of guys in new diesels being stranded because they’ve gone into limp mode due to emissions equipment. That’s been both in light (3/4 and 1 ton) and heavy trucks.

We have a rear load unit in the yard right now that got pawned off on us. Perfect for our market area. Small, agile packs pretty decent hasn't run a full 5 day week yet. The Cummins tech has been up 3 times . The theory at this point is we don't get it up to highway speed and run hard and hot long enough to keep it from wanting to REGEN like every third day. It's just an utter POS. It's 10 minutes from one side of town to the other @ probably 40 MPH not a lot of highway time if you know what I mean

Glider is a new frame and body that you get to install engine of your pick . They are installing pre tir 3 and 4 engines . Only real killer is they can't run California .
