Default How do i get it to stay?

Im trying to come up with a way to get a horse shoe to stay on a front licence plate. I Thought of using horseshoe nails and put them in the horseshoe and through the licence plate and bend it behind the plate and use come silicone to stick it to the plate also. Any ideas?

IF the plate is steel, I would plug weld from the backside, thru
a punched hole in the plate, into the horeshoe.

Funny place to store the spare, always thought it went 'round back....

If it were me, I'd consider tie wire or horse shoe nails to hold the shoe in a bed of silicone or urethane. I certainly wouldn't want the shoe to come adrift at freeway speed and I find stuff that rattles just annoying.

Drill it through the back, tap it & screw it.

I didnt want to see any bolts or screws or rivets from the front if possible. Do you think the Silicone will hold it enought? with nails.
