Recent Finds

Hi Gang, It's been awhile since I last posted what with being down a month with my back and the computer dying and trying to get caught back up it's been kinda crazy.Thought I'd share a couple of recent finds.First is an old Clark truck that looks to be aleast an 8000# cap.Had a reman engine 3 yrs ago been parked the last 2-man said come get it so I did. So far all I see is clean the gas tank and carb and put a battery in and we shall see. Second is a really nice Peerless hacksaw -looks to be about a 6 x 10 capacity,Showed up in my yard Saturday and said if I wanted to unload it I owned it(what would you do?) Now I just have to decide wheather to change it to 220 single or come up with a 3 ph converter. Wonder what will show up next. Bill

If you do the rotary converter, could you follow up with details things like what you chose and why ?. Been curious about these motorized hacksaws, be looking for your threads on its future use

You know Tom Ive made that same offer to a lot of people. I explain to them, sure ill remove that liability to your health called a SAM400 or whatever the particular case might be. Yet everytime I do they snap at me NO!. I just dont understand...I mean such a nice guy and nobody wants my help I wish there was something more I could do. But they just wont let me. Oh well but you know I will say this...I think he should add a lil top side protection....it really helps to keep the sun and the rain off ya...plus it gives ya somehitng to grab onto when youre climbing on. Did I mention its handy when you givin someone a ride
