Default Need help sourcing a switch.

Over the weekend with the work bench haul I bought a few other items I knew some co-workers would want and are paying me for.

One is a Sun tune up tester 1015.

There is a three position switch on one side and I damaged it when I had to slam my brakes on and it slid into the tool box in the bed of my truck.

One side of the switch turns on a display light, the middle is off, the right is power on.

Attached are pictures of the switch and the cover plate.

No pics but that style switch is pretty common. I have a couple in the garage, think I got them at a car parts place, maybe Radio Shack..

Sounds like a basic ON-OFF-ON toggle switch--common as dirt. The only thing you need to do is match the lug type for the wire connections...

Were you driving too fast? Or was it not tied down well enough?

Measure twice and cut once...or...wait, was that the other way around?
