Default New Welding Truck

Hey All

Havent been around for awhile, been busy getting some things lined up on the business and still working night shift at the quarry. Anyhow sold the 86 Chevy that I was putting together for a welding truck, and got me one that needed less work and was ready for the road. I got this new truck Monday and have drove it to work the last few evenings and like it pretty well. Now I just need a few good days with no rain to get everything switched over on it.

Heres some specs.

1996 Ford F450XL
7.3 liter Power Stroke Diesel
Power Steering
5 Speed manual Transmission
Air Conditioning
Reading 9' Mechanic Service Body
Auto Crane 5005H 5,000 lb. hydraulic crane
Manual Outriggers
Lincoln Ranger 9 Welder
Bow and Tarp
Tool drawers
Stellar 35cfm Underhood Air Compressor
Mileage: 137,000
Price: $14,000.00
Delivered

Heres a few pics of it at the dealer's lot

Thanks James

Congrats, should do you proud, not to mention lots of storage. The 7.3 will last and will out perform the 6.0l. As for the crane I think U Suck

James you've done really well with the trading up. This one looks like it's waiting on you to put it to work.

I love those cranes on that sized truck.

Nice rig James, looks like all you've got to do is load your tools in it and it's ready to go to work. That crane will make working solo a lot easier.

That truck is in great shape and should give you long service. That crane will REALLY be useful!

Nice truck. I esp. like the tall compartments on the drivers side. I don't see many like that.

Very nice truck, James,,,,, just be careful, even a F450, easier to overload than you'd think. Put what you always NEED on it permanently, everything else, put on or take off as the job requires. Weigh it first, as is, then make your decisions.
