Yes, I know, and I never thought that the stay below $10000 rule would apply because it was within the same bank. It's just a paperless trail of some electrons changing ownership.

The 10K rule is total hogwash. Never seen once where anyone was prosecuted for having 10K+ cash that was tied to drugs or money laundering. It is just a ruse to pry into the personal business of people.

Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi along with Georgia. Were states who proudly used that law to steal money from people in that way but it didn't have to be 10 if it were 500 or more and you didn't have verifiable proof of where it came from on your person at the time of a stop they confiscated it and charged you with a crime if they could and burden of proof was on you and you alone!
The fucked up thing was when the people the law literally stole money from the law or department were backed by the federal government in if they had to return any of it you only once you proved legal earned ownership you only got back 30 percent of what they took from you because they were entitled to it for department to keep pressing criminal activity BS!
and it is totally legal for them to do so and Louisiana and Georgia still do this shit to random out of state travelers even though it has been proven they are doing not to stop drug trafficking or laundering but for the sole purpose of stalling money for their department... there has been a lot of calls that has fallen on deaf ears in Washington to prosecute these departments and abolish the law that allows them to keep protesting in the illegal but legal theft. fucking criminals is all they are

yep, That's it and a bit sad that it happens more than people know and the ones doing it take pleasure in it. there is nothing corrupt in it if it is done solely for the confiscation of drug or laundering monies... I have no problem with them targeting drug dealers for that purpose... but it didn't stop there!
