Did this for a neighbor... 5 shoes, piece of tube and a "fenial"

Nice work Jim, good thing she only had 4 cups.

There's so many different finishes that can be added to an "OEM" shoe, but for some reason most people find that a semi-gloss look and in black is most asked for.

BTW, if ever the chance arises, be sure and tell/mention to your neighbor how much I like their choice of chair back designs. Nice table and chair set.

My mom wants me to make a bunch of those type things.. The problem is i dont know where to get old shoes.. Any ideas?

Default Free horse shoes

Most farrier's will give you more than you want. They also will give you their old trimming files, hardly used.

Rock, try to find some one that shoes horses and ask him for the used shoes that he removes. Chances are thought he all ready has a use for them. Anothe place might be some one that stables horses.
