Default The Weekend Update

Ok so I'm trying to get back into the groove of working in the shop during the week and on the weekends so i'm going to update this thread with each project as i'm working on it here to stay motivated. When I slack and don't post or get anything done feel free to say something or poke fun at the infinate lazyness I obtain

So Ill start it off with a small gate I made on friday. 1x1"x16ga. outer frame, 1/2"x16ga. pickets, and some hinges salvaged from the dumpster.
Note that the fence is not plum and not even the same height on each side but I went ahead and built the gate square so it can be used in the near future when a new fence is built.

Steel - $14, paint - $3, knowing that momma's happy now - woth it.

Also this afternoon I was able to start on a cart which will house the Spectrum 375 and one of the little MM140's I won. Even though the 140 won't see much action I decided to put it on the cart to save room elseware in the shop. The frame is .120 wall 1 1/4" tubing. Overkill I know but it's the smallest stuff I have a Die for to bend. Hopefully I will get it done or almost done tomorrow.

See how it is Zach?

Is nice to have the smaller machines mobile. Making them safely mobile seems to allow for their safety and security. Pulling one off a box or radom placement and onto the floor can serious effects on performance.

Nice bends BTW and 1 pic can start a thread.

LOL Cutter it was a poor showing.. sorry
Thank you Iwhiway. Those bends fought me the whole way. Nothing like bending outside in the dark.
Thank you too Charlie. The dogs really enjoy the view it gives of the neighborhood.

Despite my best intentions not much got done today But I did manage to mangle a finger/fingernail
001 - Almost same pic as before.
002 - Left side. Plasma cutter ofset to allow the mm140's door to open.
004 - Front.
