Default Compressor part?

Hi all,
Just inherited an older CH compressor that has not run in awhile.
Want to refurbish it and use it, so was wondering what the included part is and if I should just replace this with a new one or can it be cleaned up and re-used?
Photo attached....any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Looks to me like a combination line pressure regulator/valve and moisture trap. It may be good to go but is easily replaceable if need be.

Yep I’ll vote for that. There is usually a gage on there. The plug is where the gage port is. Usually on both sides.
