Default Tool Post identity

Can anyone identify this tool post? I recently purchased it and need to find tool holders to match. It measures slightly over 2" wide and is 2.34" tall. The width of the dovetail plate is 1.345". I'm very new to the terminology associated with lathe tools. Can someone tell me what "AXA" means.

I don't know what sizie it is but I believe that is a KDK post or a knock-off of one. http://www.kdktools.com/standardbars/standard_sets.htm

I'll second that it appears to be a KDK brand or knockoff, the AXA refers to the size of toolpost to fit a lathe originally created by Aloris (I think) AX designated a piston driven post and the AXA a wedge style, Dorian, Aloris, KDK all adopted this sizing and most interchange with each other, the AX series fits most lathes with a 10-13" swing.

Aloris or perhaps KDK has a website thats pretty informative....

Default still no luck.

The tool holders for this post need a dovetail which is 1.375 wide. I purchased one for an AXA and the dovetail is way too wide. Does anyone know of a custom maker for tool holders? I could possibly send them the post and they could brew up something for me.

Maybe the holders for this scaled-down tool post?

Nope, I already measured mine. The widest part of the dovetail is one inch. The outside dimension of the toolpost is about 1.55".

I don't know if they welcome custom work yet but these people make the Little MachineShop QCTP:

http://www.a2zcnc.com/

Call them and ask. I bought my mini toolpost directly from them and they were very helpful to me.

I sent them an e-mail with pics and the dimensions of the post. We'll see what they say.
Thanks

I think there are different sizes. Can we have a coupla more Photos? It appears that the gib may be missing.

You will love it when you get everyting attached and most of it is available.
I have a similiar one and the toolholders are less than $20. I got 5 to start with and have ordered 2 more to make tool changing faster.

Everyone knows I have to keep my production up and all I am making is shavings.
