Crane overloading (yet another)
However, this one is in Chile, I thought they were pretty safety conscious there. Although this one could happen here in the Us, or maybe even the EU.

The hook and block look like they are re usable.
The track loader....maybe a cracked weld or two... The crane, well, the interior of the cab is cover with shit

I like watching videos like this, especially when no one gets hurt. I consider what went wrong and how to prevent.
In this video I think the mistake was made when the operator rotated the boom. I think it better if he would have slowly pulled the boom up and moved the crane straight back. Another option may be to just move straight back once the load cleared the edge. I have never operated a crane, I'm not sure which approach would be better.

It would have been a different story if that track crane had outriggers to the sides. I don’t ever recall one of those cranes having those though, not that I have been around a lot of them. He was definitely over the crane limit.

Bouncing the crawler off the face of the wall, set up a side swing that overcame the counter weight on the crane. It looks like the operator was in such a hurry to swing it over the top, that he did so before the crawler was clear of the wall.
