Default Lawn roller

I've been trying to find one to go behind my compact tractor and most are for riding mowers. I'm thinking of making one. I'd like it to be 24 inches round and 48-60 wide. Any ideas where to find something close so I don't have to fabricate everything?

That was my fall back. I was thinking about making a water fill type first off.

In our part of the world it’s fairly easy to find large pipe pieces, often heavy wall, maybe some searching will net you a piece of that?

I've got one yard here that will let me walk around. I'll have to check there Friday.

Search for pipe on local classifieds too, that’s where a lot of it shows up here. Welders, ranchers, whoever will end up with leftovers or used stuff and will list it for sale.

truck propane tanks are another option more work than a piece of pipe, but often cheap or free, at least around here.

So this made its way to my house. I'm not sure if I want to go through the effort of making it a water-fill type or just fill it. How would I Do the ends if I were to use sand? I guess it would be easy enough to cut it open, fill with concrete and close it back up.

What do you guys think?
