Glad to here your Spectrum 375 is working. Mine is scheduled to arrive tomorrow, but I have to get an air filter set up before playing.

So how about you post some photos and details like material sizes and stuff, just to hold me over until I can get mine running.

PS- I already double-checked my home-made adapter cord.

Default Problems.

Most problems are simple to fix, just hard to find.

Isn't that the truth !

I can't remember where I heard this story but it's applicable here:

A shop developed a whole computer system to gather and store a retiring guy's knowledge so it could be retained and not lost. A few years go by and the process is working great. Then one day it breaks down and the computer system doesn't know how to fix it. So, they call the guy up and get him to come by and have a look. He takes a piece of chalk walks around for a bit then bends over and puts an X on one piece of equipment. Tells the guys running the place to replace the box with the X on it and all will be well. They do and everything is working great. A few days go by and they get a bill in the mail for $10,000 ! They were outraged and wanted to know in detail what had cost them $10,000 ... so, he says he'd send them an itemized bill in a few days. It looked something like this:

1 piece of chalk - $0.05
Knowing where to place the X - $9,999.95

If I remember the story correctly they paid the bill. Ahh, to be a consultant.

I learned many years ago that advice is worth what people will pay for it, when I showed an old surplus dealer how to make a couple thousand one day.
I bet him lunch I was right, and he bitched for 20 years about having to buy me lunch.
Now, I gotta learn to send bills for everything I tell people, either they'll quit arguing with me, or stop asking questions.
Meanwhile, each of you can send $50- to my PayPal account for the time being.
