Default Jeep skidplate

Did a tummy tuck (high clearance skid for you non Jeepers) on my 04 Rubicon, that left my trans skid hanging 2ā€ lower than the high clearance transfer case skid, could have either modified the trans skid and ignored the engine oil pan or start from scratch and make one that covered both. Well, Iā€™m not one to take the easy way out so made one to cover both. Skid is 1/4ā€ A-36 plate with 1ā€ bent up on both long edges to stiffen it, attached the rear to the high clearance skid and the front I supported off of the bottom of the motor mounts, that should protect the soft underbelly of this beast.

Looks good, how many times did you have to crawl under the jeep?

Makes my neck sore just thinking about it. Working flat on my back doesn't agree with my neck and shoulders anymore. Also the dog thinks I'm taking a nap and crawls in with me
