Those are great.
Much better than the hand-cut (with tin snips) Mexican metal art crap my wife is always trying to drag home. |

Home made CNC plasma, you say? Any details on the machine?
Nice job on the artwork.

This is the second of two small plasma tables I have built for use at my home over the years. In both cases, they were designed to be used outdoors. Plasma tables are somewhat like pool tables, in that they require a fair amount of operating room on all sides. Being located outside eliminates the space issue, as well as plasma dust and debris problems. Small units like mine (2' x 2') are easy to load with material and don't require an automatic torch height control. The first table was mounted on casters, and rolled outside my garage door for use. My current table is permanently situated under a deck outside my basement door. The compressor, plasma cutter, and computer are just inside the door, and the cables can be hooked up in a couple of minutes for use. I protect it with a fire pit cover when not in use. |

Nice setup. I like the mobile aspect. Any desire for a water tray? It wouldn't be hard to add. Any electrical interference issues using the miller plasma?
I'm in the middle of retrofitting a 5'x10' router and debating whether to make it dual function as a router and plasma, or make a standalone smaller machine like a 2'x4'.
