Not a lot of in progress pics on this one, but converted my Ford 1300 with OEM/SMC made (part of a company I used to work for) loader to skid steer quick attach. Then also was given a complete Meyers power angle plow set up off of a Jeep, and built a mount for it to be SSQA.

When I got the plow, it had a plastic liner on the front that I thought was put on (poorly) to make snow slide off easier. Turns out it was to cover the rust holes, which I patched.

Hmmm. Rust and repair...

"Gin Pole" got a slotted end piece on to hook the lift chain, and then a welded on bolt tractor side to retain slack chain with a nut as a secondary "safety".

mounted the plow frame as close to the loader as possible, but still made the tractor a bit light in the butt.
Made some racks to load and carry cheap and "modular" ($1.75/ea) weights that key into my box blade for a counterweight.

Followed up with modifying my bucket to now be SSQA.

I was originally going to fab my own male SSQA plates for the loader side, but found set on eBay for $84 shipped, with all the hardware included. I couldn't buy the materials for that. Drew up the plates to weld to them and match the loader pin geometry, and the guys in our Proto shop cut them for me on our big plasma at work.

The female plates were also found on eBay, and were $125 each, shipped. Not exactly the style I wanted, but convenient and work ok. My only real complaint is that the sides are not tapered to help self-center when attaching implements to the loader adapter.

Another nice side effect of my plow adapter, is that if I unpin the "gin pole" chain support for the plow (I made the plow pin and suspend just like it would be on a truck), I can use the mount with a receiver hitch to move trailers around.

Last year when I was off work, I added a 3 spool valve, and two sets of rear cylinder use remotes, and a 3rd function circuit to the loader arms. The third function is nice, as I use it for the plow angle (added a crossover relief valve to the plow itself in case I hit something while plowing, which should protect the plow and the loader). I also replaced the loader valve with a new Prince one with float position, as the old OEM one was having some issues.
Eventually I would like to build a small brush grapple for it.

The last stuff I did (no pics) was to replace the seat, and add a set of Pat's Easy Change adapters onto the 3 pt lift arms. well worth the money. The best price I found for them was at Rural King on line, and had them shipped free.

I think you will be very happy with it . It will also allow the use of skid loader attachments . Sometimes they can be found at a reasonable price .
