Powered by a "Driptroit" engine. Every time you strike an arc "Screamin' Jimmy" sings you a tune.

That doesn't seem too bad of a price for my area. I see a lot of clapped out SA200s going for that.

what it is is a crapped out machine with a 2 quart overhaul.

It is a two cylinder and the -71 would make the correct HP while polluting both the ground and the air. Around here we would call it a levitrite.
The exciter end is under the cover but I believe that the arrow points to the "made in USA "

It's definitely got a blower on it and appears to have a Detroit Diesel symbol on it. The exhaust side of the head looks weird. It appears it may have glow plugs. The internet has mixed answers on Detroit 2 cycles with glow plugs. Appears that some 2-71's in generator service may have been equipped based on an add for glow plugs for a Detroit.

It does resemble the 2-71 I found on ebay. The fuel pump is the same.

A friend (former) has one, and there is no auto idler.

throttle is on top of governor cover, mushroom wheel marked stop, idle, run.

I used it (once) to put grab hooks on top of his loader bucket, and he didn' thave any leads with it, so I brought some of mine.

They were maybe 20' long.....I couldn't hear any type of arc, and kept
having thoughts of being run over by a "city bus"....
