Glad to see you back, and hope to see you stick around. Even when other things and issues occur, try to pop in. We’ve all seen what can happen with the support from this group, and the lights are always on, with a pot of coffee, tea, or stronger brewing.

I'm running the heater in the new shop unit. It's the torpedo heater it's on the thermostat. Hopefully the paint will dry. Its winter time here and we got snow. I'm glad to have the tent.
This ain't the only job this tent is going to do. Lol

A coat of paint can do wonders for a project. It can make a ugly thing look good, but I also seen it make a beautiful thing look bad too! It can go both ways.

Your truck bed is looking good!

Ok after a bunch of fooling around with the equipment I got the bed back on the truck.
It was 17* here over night. I had to jump the Towmotor.

I need to fix the left front tire on the truck. It has a very slow leak. I had to air it up. I think it has an aluminum growth under the bead.

I had to weld the crappy tailpipe too. Maybe when it warms up a little then I'll get a new one. But this one will due until then.
I hooked up the gas nozzle too.

It was up hill all day with this cold weather. But I prevailed. Lol Click image for larger version

Ok yesterday I installed the reverse lights and the taillights. That was all day too. I also had to fix the tire. This time it was on the rim over night. I cleaned the rim and tire. Then I installed a new stem. It had a growth too.

Anyhow today I floored it. That took all day.
I just used what I had. I had these 2x4's. They were free. They came with the pallets. So I'm using them. It wasn't too hard. I pounded them in tight.

What a bunch of messing around just to get the thing floored. It's this winter weather. Last night it was 13*. Its warmed up to 30* now.

Nice thing about a wood deck, is you can screw/ lag bolt anything down to it anywhere to secure it for transport.
