So what are you going to do then the Zinc (ZDDP) in the ND oils reacts with
the acid based corrosion inhibitors in the oil that is already in the sump?

Followed linky, was for buckets.

I have a Shell lube distributor within 5 miles, owner was a good friend (since passed away) Kids run the place now.

So will procure the recommended in the Shell brand.

Can I use the TSC Universal in the coolant sump ?

Really you read the link... See picture...

Comprehension is important...

But Shell Turbo T 68 is the equivalent for the Mobil DTE Heavy Medium.

Mobil does a good job of having gallons and quarts avail where other suppliers
stop at pails or drums. So that is why I posted the McMaster link. You can
get most of the Mobil Hydraulic fluids in gallons.

Shell generally does not do anything less than pails.

These are just viscosity grades and have very little to do

some random product like a non-detergent SAE 20 vis. grade is not going to work.

Thanks Ron. I am sometimes hard to teach, but I think I am beginning to understand this. Probably will take a few more talks from you though for it to really sink in.

Hate to say it, but your response to Ron reminds me of the first line in your signature.
