maybe there is a second fan not pictured.

The placement doesn't look as if it would damage much let alone get past the fans outer frame.

maybe a second problem with the welder.

Where you there, I was, fucking fan blade pieces imbedded in a circuit board, quit being a idiot armchair quarterback and believe the people who saw it. I saw the damage before I took it in and I saw it again at the service repair station.

"after the exploratory surgery (autopsy??)"
"after" its opened up?
this leads me to assuming YOU did not open up the welder.

You made this sound like a repair shop told you a preliminary fan issue and you are waiting for a final assessment.

And now you get a final assessment.

I wasn't there, I was reading your post the way you typed it up.

Relax you don't have to be on a High horse all the time.

Until now,
Not one time in your previous post did you mentioned seeing any of the damage first hand.
You never said you opened up the welder but used the word "after", figured you would have posted a picture as you do most of the times.

Your posts implied you took the welder in, and the rest is hearsay from the repair guys.
I was questioning what the repair shop may have told you because you were vague in you postings.
