![]() Now with the chainsaw. I have a Yuzhoukee chainsaw. Good saw, good power. I bought it in 2020. I'm not in business so I can't justify buying a Sthil for $1800 to use it a few times a year. So that's why I bought the China saw. It's a YZ105. 42" bar. I'm running it in an Alaska sawmill. Works very well, tons of power. The sprocket come off the the clutch bell. I don't know where there is a dealer to get a part. Ebay is pointing to parts being interchangeable with Sthil 880. I was going to go check at my Stihl dealer a little drive from me. I don't know it It's interchangeable or not. I was thinking of putting a Sthil clutch on it and a new Sthil bar. Sthil runs a 3/8" chain. Mine runs .404 chain. It also came with a 42" hard-nosed bar too. But if I change to a Sthil 48" bar I can buy a sprocket tip bar. A good thing also is it has the same bolt pattern on the bar as the Stihl 880. I'm going to try to repair it. It runs perfect. In the mean time to get my job done I ordered another saw. It's a used Holtzforma Farm tech. It'll be here tomorrow. I'm going to try to mount my 42" bar on it. So if anyone knows about a dealer or if I can shoehorn a different clutch on it any info would help. Good luck with finding a replacement. I never heard of that brand. But, depending on the stihl dealer, he might help, or not.
Years ago, I had an local small engine dealer (Husqvarna.) that was upset with the box stores selling their cheaper saws, and then when they had problems, told the customer to take it to the small shop for service/ warranty. The small shop did their best to refuse to work on them if they were bought in the box store, saying they had no problem servicing the saw if it was bought from them. But if you buy a cheaper saw somewhere else, you get what you pay for. Hopefully your stihl dealer will be helpful in detrimining if the clutch is interchangeable. Hopefully you can have it all disassembled and they can compare it to an actual in stock replacement part. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

My understanding is the farm tech Holz parts are direct copies of the old stuff and parts interchange . There are lots of U TUb out there on what to replace out of the box for most dependability .

Sthil is just a name!
![]() ![]() I bought an unbranded weedeater but branded its an Echo and their parts are interchangeable this company also sells branded under the Dewalt brand weed whackers ![]() ![]() so it should not come as any surprise that you may have an unbranded model built for Sthil just over stock or Sthil decided to not carry that model again so can be sold as unbranded... |

I bought a Chinese “parts kit” a couple years ago and built a 660. I replaced several of the parts with genuine branded parts because the Chinese parts don’t work, or they are prone to break.
You can probably get 2 or 3 knockoff parts for the price of one genuine part. You just have to find out if other folks have had lots of problems with a particular part to know it best to just by genuine. YouTube and arborist forums are the best source for this info. |

Top recycler, I knew this was going to happen sooner or later when I bought the saw.
I got the Holtzforma saw in the mail today. I put it side by side with the Yuzhoukee saw. The only difference in them is the badges and the paint job. It came with a book and a tool kit. There are part numbers in the book for the sprocket also. That search come up with a ⁵spand rocket for a MS880. The sprocket is only $14.00. So I'm going to try it. I have nothing to lose. $14.00 is a good fix. Sent from my SM-S901U using ShopFloorTalk mobile app

Samcord, You are right. Jpag was telling me that China makes these saws all in the same factory. They call them Gray market saws.
I'm going to try and fix the Yuzhoukee saw. It runs real good. Sent from my SM-S901U using ShopFloorTalk mobile app
