Default New Gun

I picked up a new MIG gun yesterday. Since I started fiddling with aluminum, I decided to seek out a teflon liner/gun pkg, or a liner for my M10 gun. I found the Miller liner Wed am in Boerne. Since I wanted to do both steel and alu at a moments notice, I decided to get another gun for steel. Mostly because I didn't want to change liners all the time. I got a Tweco Fabgun 250. It seems to be easy to use. The cable/hose is the most supple I've used. Not stiff like the Miller gun. I also like the way the gun fit my hand. I'll try it out tomorrow or Sat. I almost got a Profax, but the one they had with a Miller plug was a 400a. It was huge compared to the M10. Just didn't want to put that big a gun on my little machine. The profax I liked, they didn't have in a Miller plug. It was a 180a and looked a little like the one I got.

Anybody ever use these guns??

Here it is with the M-10 ( on rt.) for comparison. I like the fact that it isn't that much different in size. The Profax was roughly double the size of the Miller gun.

Standard Tweco/Lincoln type. Nothing fancy. I even had to pick up some .035 tips at Home Depot 'cuz my supplier was out. I got 20 tips at my supplier for less than the 10 orange ones cost. At least I now have a late night/weekend source.
