Tire wear ok so I don't see a issue with leaving it alone . If someone notices and complains just tell them it is Harold's outlook on life ,a little off .

I really did want to fix it up, but after you guys said you agreed to leave it alone. I feel better with my decision.

Put a coat of wood preservative on the top and bottom of the wood deck.

Looks good from here! Run it.

Now if it was behind your truck daily and putting on hundreds of miles a week, then it might have been worth it to fix it right.

I know I have run far worse before.
