If the product is water soluble, as in this case, it really is not that big an issue.
Modern laundry detergents are some the hardest things your municipal waste
treatment system has to deal with.

This is a relatively small volume vs. what a sewer system sees.

Not really and issue if it not a regular thing. And most waste oil drop-offs will
not take water soluble materials, as they have no BTU value.
