Shoot, I almost want to try one. Been thinking about a nice cheap light one to carry around for portable jobs.

But, on the other hand, I’ve been purging my shop, trying to make more room for tools I need to get inside.

I unburied my Lincoln 175 square wave tig/ stick welder and was thinking I should post it up on Facebook marketplace place, along with another tombstone Lincoln I have.

I should just sell my excess machines, and focus on what I have.

I bought the Deko, because it was so cheap and Amazon has a great return policy. That said, I used it once and to my surprise, I kept it. I used a 3/32 7018 and it ran it fine. It was just a thin piece of angle, maybe 1/8", but it did the job and I ran it on 120V.

The arccsptain stuff is supposed to be pretty good stuff.

Bestarc has a plasma on Amazon that cuts 1/2" pretty slick, and last I saw was $180 with $60 instant coupon. I could buy one of those for less than I spent on my last order of consumables for my miller.

I'd go the next step above and get the pilot arc function. Well worth the extra $20!
